Pre-Professional Ballet & Competition Program
Ages 11+
Advanced Classical Training. Individual Artistic Development. International Competition Preparation.
Our Pre-Professional Ballet & Competition Program is designed for dedicated young dancers who demonstrate the motivation, discipline, and readiness required for advanced classical ballet training.
Rooted in the Vaganova method, the program provides a structured and demanding educational environment guided by experienced ballet educators and former professional artists with international stage experience.
Training focuses on the progressive development of classical technique, correct placement, coordination, pointe work where appropriate, strength, musicality, classical repertoire, and artistic expression. Individual coaching and carefully selected repertoire help students refine their technique, interpretation, stage presence, and artistic identity.
International Competition Preparation
Competition preparation is an integral part of our advanced training pathway. Selected dancers are prepared for recognised international ballet competitions, including Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP), ADC IBC, Global Dance Open (GDO), and Universal Ballet Competition (UBC).
Preparation may include classical variations, Pas de Deux where appropriate, contemporary repertoire, technical refinement, performance coaching, and individual artistic guidance.
Participation is based on each dancer’s technical readiness, artistic development, commitment, and faculty recommendations. Competition is a valuable part of training, but not its sole purpose: our priority is to develop technically secure, musically sensitive, disciplined, and expressive young artists.
A Long-Term Artistic Pathway
Our Pre-Professional Program prepares committed students for sustained development in classical ballet and, where appropriate, auditions for more advanced training opportunities. We value consistent progress over short-term results, balancing high expectations with individual guidance and respect for each dancer’s stage of development.
Beyond technical training, students develop an understanding of classical repertoire, musical interpretation, stage etiquette, and the artistic responsibility that comes with performing ballet at an advanced level.
